Some days I feel like I’m beating my head against a brick
wall talking to my teenager. I’m new to
this stage of life, so those of you who have already entered this phase, I
applaud you as you have already ventured into this crazy, unpredictable,
sometimes frustrating and often rewarding stage of life. J
I have a new appreciation for parents of teenagers because
it’s hard to accept a child moving away from the stage of needing my constant attention
to sending them off to test their wings.
Sometimes I just plain don’t like it!
If you are not yet in this stage of life, pray today for a
friend who is there and/or send them a message of encouragement. And most importantly pray for the teens in
your family as well as your church family… they are dealing with some hard
issues and sometimes awkward situations. They desperately need our prayers!
